Once you've signed in to Office 365 and you've installed Office on your devices, your next steps are to set up your email and know how to find Office on your devices. Then, start using Office 365.

Set up your email
If you didn't already set up email on your devices, you might want to do that now.
To do this
See this article
View your email and calendar in a browser window

View your email and calendar in Outlook installed on your computer

View your email on a mobile device

Add another email account (this is in addition to your Office 365 email account) to Outlook on your device

Find Office (Word, Excel, ect...) on your devices
Once you've installed Office (Word, Excel, ect...), you'll want to make sure you know where your apps are so you can open them quickly and easily.
For this device
Do this
Windows computer

Mac computer

In the Dock on your Mac, look for icons, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, installed with Office for Mac 2011.

If you're using Office 2016 for Mac, see Add the Office for Mac app icons to the Dock.
iOS device (iPhone or iPad)

On your iPhone or iPad, look for the Word, PowerPoint, and Excel tiles. For more information, see Set up a mobile device using Office 365 for business.

Android device (phone or tablet)

On your Android phone or tablet, look for the Word, PowerPoint, and Excel tiles. For more information, see Set up a mobile device using Office 365 for business.

Windows Phone 8

On your Windows Phone 8, open your Office app. For more information, see Set up Office on a Windows Phone with Office 365 for business.

Start using Office 365
With Office 365, you have several options. You can sign in and use Office 365 in a browser, or you can use your Office apps on your devices.
Use Office 365 in a browser window
Use Office on a computer, tablet, or phone
This is useful when you're using a device that doesn't have Office installed on it. For example, if you're at the local library, you can sign in and access your apps and files in Office 365 in a browser window.

  1. Sign in at http://myo365.limestone.on.ca

  2. Use the app launcher to navigate across your apps. See Meet the Office 365 app launcher.

  3. Use Office Online to create, view, and edit documents that are saved to OneDrive for Business. See Video: Get started at Office.com.
When you have Office installed on your devices, you can access even more features to create, view, or edit files. On mobile devices, your files are saved automatically to your OneDrive for Business. On your computer, you can save files to your OneDrive for Business so that you can access them later on other devices.

  1. Save new files to your OneDrive (or OneDrive for Business) library. See Dragging and dropping files to OneDrive for Business.

  2. On all your computer, tablet, or smartphone, use your OneDrive (or OneDrive for Business) app to view your existing files. See Seeing your files from other devices.

  3. Open a file in an Office app (such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and edit it on your device. See Saving and opening files.
